Vice President of Business Development
IBT Apps is looking for a Business Development Executive who is experienced with driving business through finding and creating opportunities in a competitive and unique environment. You are familiar with nurturing prospects through various touchpoints to generate and close business, and when interacting with prospects, you are resourceful in creating a need to provide a solution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

Business Development Management:

  • Maintain a nurtured and active pipeline of prospects.
  • Qualify prospects against culture and company criteria.
  • Develop and maintain a plan which will outline how your sales targets will be met to keep pace with your goals. 
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers.
  • Provide forecast on sales volumes over relevant time-periods.

 

Brand Ambassador:

  • Manage presentations to present to prospects.
  • Drive the sales cycle through meaningful, and ongoing engagement.
  • Prospect for potential customers using various touchpoints such as social media, marketing assets, and through email.
  • Maintain a healthy and consistent presence through social media.
  • Maintain a high-level view of industry knowledge to maintain meaningful conversations.

Data Hygiene:

  • Collect needed information to allow team to draft and deliver proposals that align with the clients and IBT Apps needs.
  • Keep notes on prospect interactions in CRM.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers.

 

Team Player and Collaborator:

  • Attend industry events to develop leads and prospects.
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Work with technical staff and product specialist to address customer requirements when required.
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop and improve sales tools.
  • Provide feedback to executive management on ways to decrease sales cycle and enhance sales.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5-years’ experience with building new opportunities in a B2B market
  • Preference of prior knowledge of banking system and selling to financial institutions
  • Must have some knowledge of competitive threats and opportunities 
  • Experience with managing the completing sales cycle from lead generation to close 
  • Experience with managing a sales pipeline and accurately forecasting sales opportunities
  • Must work well independently and be self-motivated, knowing when to be collaborative with other teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and able to drive an automobile 
  • Experience in communicating with prospects using social media  
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
